I nearly forgot the one thing that has stopped me in my workflow tracks most often - downloading and opening (and creating) zip files is now supported! That will make a substantial difference in usability for “real work” for me.Ĭurious how the new text editing gestures feel - how’s selecting text with the swiping? How’s moving the cursor? It's actually been fairly stable for me so far (especially given the rather ominous warning on the developer downloads page), but it does come with a list of known issues a mile long, and, IME, iOS developer betas can actually regress in stability a bit during the early beta stages (so things that don't crash in beta 1 might crash in beta 2 or 3).

Regardless, I don't think I'd install it on a device I rely on for anything.

Just tried it again (for science!) and was able to log in on the first try- so things are probably good there. Might've been a network issue or something- when I first tried, I'd try to sign in and get stuck after entering my password (on the Add Account screen) with a spinning pinwheel that never went away. And I’m intentionally keeping this device signed out of iCloud and Messages for now given my experience with previous developer builds, so can’t really test that either. I’m not really sure how much more exploration I’m going to be able to do on this build it looks like 1Password is broken on iOS 13 for now (can’t sign in- I set up this device as a new iPad, so the previous login got wiped out), which makes it difficult to do a lot.
