Group A: Less power and more weight than Group B, but they can power through corners significantly better. Group B 4WD: Regarded by many as the golden age of rally, these cars are monsters with insane power-to-weight, but their early 4WD systems don't produce the torque-vectoring you'll see in later 4WD cars, extreme care must be taken in the corners. They not as boaty as you might think given the modern differencials.

They're quite heavy, but you get loads of power and torque, as well as good downforce at speed. Rally GT: These are modern RWD performance cars modified for rally. Group B RWD: Currently only 2 cars (with the Lancia 037 later on), the Opel Manta 400 feels like your general step-up from H3, then you have the bonkers M1 Procar, which is an actual race car modified for rally, it's a blast on tarmac rallies when tuned well. You get cars as early as the Lancia Stratos (raced against the H2 cars irl, to cars as late as the BMW M3 ( mid-late 80s). H3 RWD: This group seems more like a mishmash of random cars from various eras, all grouped by overall performance. H2 RWD: Mostly cars seen in the 70s rally championships, you get a decent dose of power-to-weight, great for learning to rally with RWD cars.

R2: Modern FWD, power to weight stays roughly the same with H2, but the FWD is a lot more responsive given the advancements made to the drivetrain. H2 FWD: 80s FWD cars, more power and heavier than the H1s, a lot less understeer. H1 FWD: Early FWD cars, low overall power, light-weight, but lots of understeer.
